FAQs
Find answers to frequently asked questions about Fagolli products, installation requirements, daily operation, maintenance, warranty, and support services.
A: You can do everything online via our digital catalog and WhatsApp. Showroom visits are entirely optional but recommended if you prefer to see physical samples.
A: We can provide a close estimate using your gate photos and rough measurements provided by you. An on-site check is required to finalize the price before fabrication.
A: Custom fabrication and installation typically take 2 to 4 weeks from the day your deposit is confirmed.
A: Standard bifold gates require at least a 1ft x 1ft solid concrete pillar to properly support the weight and movement of the trackless system.
A: You need active power wiring (at least a 2-core cable) ready at the base of your pillars. Additionally, the pillars must be made of solid concrete rather than stacked brick to support the gate’s weight.
A: Trackless gates hang entirely on the pillars. We will inspect your existing pillars during our site visit and advise if reinforcement is necessary.
A: In most cases, yes. If your existing pillar wiring is in good condition, we can reuse it without hacking your driveway floor.
A: Standard bifold gates require at least a 1ft x 1ft solid concrete pillar to properly support the weight and movement of the trackless system.
A: You or your contractor must be there at the start to grant access, and at the end to test the system and receive the keys.
A: Installation is completed within one single day (3-5hours). Your home will not be left open or without a secure gate overnight.
A: Yes. The system supports a single-panel opening feature so you do not have to wait for the entire gate to open.
A: It depends on the size of your pet. The standard ground clearance beneath the gate is usually around a 3-inch gap.
A: The standard AC backup battery provides up to 7 days of power, while the solar version provides up to 14 days. Total runtime depends on the overall health and quality of the battery.
A: Fagolli includes its own mobile app control that supports Hey Siri. For third-party smart home or intercom integration, an additional hardware accessory is required, and compatibility depends on your service provider’s system.
A: Insert the provided manual override key into the motor clutch slot, turn it to unlock the gears, and you can easily push the gate panels open by hand.
A: Cut the main electricity power and backup battery immediately to prevent shorting. Leave the gate open manually so emergency vehicles can pass and water pressure doesn’t bend the panels.
A: No. Do not use the motor. Operating a jammed or misaligned gate will burn out the electronic control board and damage the motor gears.
A: Check if the safety sensors are dirty, or if leaves, debris, or uneven ground are physically blocking the gate’s path. If you identify that a safety sensor is faulty, use the force close button on your remote to temporarily close the gate.
A: The most common cause is a weak remote control battery. Replace the battery first. If the problem persists, check for external wireless frequency interference near your porch.
A: It is normal for outdoor mechanical hinges to make occasional sounds after long use; you can simply apply a standard lubricant to the hinge joints. However, if the noise is loud or grinding, it is usually caused by sand or debris washed into the bottom mechanism boxes by heavy rain. Use a water hose to thoroughly spray and clean out the tracks at the bottom part of the gate first.
A: A continuous beep can indicate a few different things: the IR safety sensors are blocked, the main AC power has failed and the system is running on the backup battery, a feature setting like the auto-close timer is active, or the security alarm has been triggered.
A: We can provide a step-by-step video instruction to help you reset the receiver code. Once reset, you will pair your primary remote back to the system and then copy the new code onto your remaining remotes.
A: The backup battery typically lasts 2 to 3 years and is designed for an easy, plug-and-play self-replacement. You can purchase a replacement directly from us or buy it online.
For AC-powered systems, you will notice it needs replacing if the main power trips and the gate runs slowly on battery backup. For solar systems, the gate will begin to operate slowly overall.
A: Contact our support team via WhatsApp. We will first troubleshoot with you by providing some videos about the faulty, then dispatch a technician with the exact replacement component so you do not have to wait for repairs. The entire process is usually resolved within a week.
A: Yes for the motor system, but we do not recommend it for the gate structure itself. Our trackless bifold gate is engineered differently from conventional gates, and third-party technicians may not understand the correct technical layout or folding mechanics.
A: Our main HQ is located in Selangor, Malaysia. For installation in other states, our authorized dealers provide the exact same products, services, and technical support. Please visit our Contact Us page to find your nearest dealer’s details.
A: We handle everything from product design and manufacturing to installation. We manage our own production, system distribution, accessories, and electronics, ensuring strict quality control over both the trackless gate engineering and the motor systems. No third-party or imported products are involved.
A: You can reach our team directly through our official WhatsApp support hotline for fast assistance, video troubleshooting, or to schedule a site visit.
